High Spring Carbon Steel Wires

DM Grade

Grade DM

High carbon spring steel wires grade DM- Medium Strength Dynamic have also found to be increasingly commonly used. These patented wires are cold drawn and made from unalloyed high carbon steel wire rods. These wires a similar to grade SM but unlike grade SM, minimum carbon percentage in DM wires is usually more than 0.65%.

High carbon spring steel wires in Grade DM can be supplied in both phosphate and galvanized coating which possess properties for tension, compression or torsion springs which are subjected to medium-high dynamic stresses and rarely dynamic stress and also for wire shapes that require severe bending
