These wires have an ideal Carbon percentage ranging from 0.80% to 0.85%, thus offering excellent fatigue resistance in the wires suitable for manufacturing small springs. 

High carbon spring steel DH grade wires are oil hardened and vastly used for manufacturing small tension, torsion and compression springs which are subjected to high static strains to medium levels of dynamic strains.
